Annette Hood, 43, passed away September 18, 2013, as a result of cancer illness. 

Born May 25, 1970, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Sandra Allen Hood of Corbin, KY, and Ronne Hood of Woodbine, KY.

She was a 1989 graduate of Chaney High School/Choffin Career Center.

A passionate animal lover and a selfless individual, she was well liked by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walt and Retha Hood

and her maternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Eileen Allen; aunt, Vicky Hamner; and uncle, Terrry Allen.

She is survived by her mother and father; two sisters: Denise Allen of Corbin and Beth Hood of Hamilton; brother, Robert Hood of Girard; nephew, Jay Baytos of Corbin; nieces, Carrie Hood of Hamilton, Ashlee and Amber Hood of Girard; nephew, Zack Hood of Girard; great-niece, Marea Hood of Girard; aunt, Debbie Kohler of Bethpage, TN, and cousin, Leeann Fitts, of Bethpage, TN, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Dwayne Jesse will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church 3300 Canfield RD, Youngstown, OH.

To honor Annette’s memory, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to the local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society.
