Brenda Elaine Mosley, 74, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Continue Care Hospital.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church.  One of her most enjoyable hobbies was quilting.

Born December 25, 1941, in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Bertha Rose.  In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Mosley; sister, Betty Carman; and brother, Barry Rose.

She is survived by two daughters: Renae Steinbach and Regina Emberton; four grandchildren: Sarah Rose Steinbach, Katie Elaine Steinbach, Cody Nathan Emberton, and Brynn Marie Emberton; and sister, Barbara Rose McClain.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 26, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Fugitt officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

The family extends a thank you and  appreciation to the nurses in CCU at Continue Care Hospital.

    I’m so sorry for this family’s loss. Brenda had the sweetest two daughters and her grandchildren meant the world to her. Renae & Regina, I wish I could have been there for you but due to us being in the same situation it was difficult. Sarah & Katie, your Nom loved you and it was evident that whether it was a band event, prom or whatever may be her eyes glowed whenever she supported you. Cody & Brynn from what I recall she was excited to see you guys every visit you made to Corbin for a weekend or weekly stay. I don’t think she could have been any more proud of any of her family. Cody said it best when he said he came from a family of strong women. Continued prayers and blessings to each of you.
