Denzle Hughes
August 14, 1947 - February 17, 2015Denzle Hughes, 67, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Baptist Health Corbin. He was a member of the UAW Local 900 in Wayne, MI.
Born August 14, 1947, in Gray, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Denzle Parker Hughes and Lodie Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Gene McClellan, a nephew: Stacey Hughes, a niece: Amanda Blanton; brother-in-law, Millard Blanton, and Lonnie Hughes.
Survivors include four sisters: Mary Farris, Ada Wasierski and husband Dennis, Elizabeth Blanton, and Connie Eagle and husband Breckey; a brother, Larry Hughes and wife Bell; and his extended family: Cinda Hughes, Cindy Story and husband Keith, Randy Hughes and wife Trish, Michelle Taranto and husband Guy, and Duke Hughes and wife Melissa, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stevie Hughes and Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in Brafford Cemetery at Gray with Randy Hughes, Duke Hughes, Wes Eagle, Cory Newhard, Nick Newhard, and Marty Hart serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
