Elaine Emmons
October 23, 1946 - August 14, 2016Elaine Emmons, 69, of Corbin passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was a member of New Hope Ministries Church of God and devoted her life to her church and children.
Born October 23, 1946, in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ernie and Annie Keith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Emmons.
She is survived by three children: Lee Emmons, Erin Emmons and wife Patrycja Kubat, and Lauren Emmons; and a sister, Mary Kilbourne. She is also survived by other relatives, her church family, a special friend — Amanda Mullins, and numerous other friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 18, 2016, at New Hope Ministries Church of God with Rev. Mike Addison and Rev. Paula Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral hour at the church.
