Eulis “Dude” Farmer
April 23, 1927 - July 8, 2016Eulis “Dude” Farmer, 89, of Corbin passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at his home.
Born April 23, 1927, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Farmer and Nannie Farmer.
He was a charter member of New Hope Ministries Church of God and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eunice Farmer; two sons: Rickey Farmer and wife Muriel and Ronald Farmer and wife Chong; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a brother, Orville Farmer; and an honorary daughter, Kim Cooper, along with other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at New Hope Ministries Church of God. Rev. Paula Farmer, Rev. Michael Addison, and Rev. Paul Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow at 3 P.M. in the Resthaven Cemetery Mausoleum in Baxter, KY. Full military rites will be conducted by the Harlan Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. Tuesday at the church.
