Gladys Anders
May 29, 1914 - November 15, 2013Gladys Polly Anders, of Keavy, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013, at Laurel Heights in London.
She was a member of Locust Grove Christian Church.
Her fondness for her cats and dogs remained with her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Amy Della Floyd Polly; her husband Omar Anders; 2 children: Karen Faye and Jerry Ray and one grandson, Jeff Brittain.
Survivors include her children: June Brittain and husband Bill of Hopkins, SC, Raleigh Anders and wife Helen, of Keavy, and James Anders and wife Pam of Brooksville, FL; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She leaves other family members and numerous friends, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Gladys will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street, Corbin.
