July 15, 1986 - November 16, 2014Jonathan Cody Gregory, being 28 years 4 months and 1 day of age, was carried away home by Angels on November 16, 2014, at UK Healthcare, Lexington, Fayette Co., KY.
Born July 15, 1986, in Corbin, Whitley Co., KY, Cody was one of the last babies to be born at the old SE KY Baptist Hospital in Corbin, KY.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Robyn Lynn Gregory, in August 2010; his maternal great-grandparents: David Franklin Mullins and Mildred Irene Anderson Mullins and Elvin Herbert Gregory and Beulah Elizabeth Elliott Gregory; and his paternal grandfather, William Thomas Collins, Sr.
Surviving are his maternal grandparents: Roger Lloyd Gregory and Etta Karolyn Mullins Gregory; his maternal aunts: Karen Lisa Gregory Farris and her husband, Bruce Edward Farris; and Gina Gay Gregory Jackson; his maternal uncle, Roger Ladd Gregory and his wife, Linda Gregory; his cousins: Andrew David Jackson, William Ethan Farris, Bruce Ehren Farris and Tyler Rankin Collins; his little cousin, Haley Jade Marie Jackson, who affectionately called him “Uncle Cody”; his paternal grandmother, Martha Frances Creech Collins; his father, William Thomas Collins, Jr; his half-brother, Joshua Zane Collins; his paternal uncle, George Rankin Collins; special friends, the Ellisons; and many wonderful family and friends, all who mourn his passing.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date, with interment inCumberland Memorial Gardens, Lily, Laurel Co., KY.
