Mae Eaton
June 25, 1938 - November 16, 2013Mae Eaton, 75, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013. Born June 25, 1938, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Emmer Root.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Martha Henson, Effie Harris, Myrtle Gray, and Sallie Root; and by four brothers: Roy Root, Dallas Root, Ernest Root, and Arlie Root.
She is survived by her husband, Gleason Nim Eaton; two daughters: Tonya Lewis and husband Randy and Teresa Lawson and husband Vincent; two grandsons: Ronnie Gleason Lewis and Spencer Zachary Lawson; one brother: Clarence Root and wife Ruby of Ohio, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with John David Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery.
The family of Mae Eaton will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
