Helen Moore
January 23, 1947 - May 23, 2016
Helen Moore, 69, of Corbin passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.
She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church and later attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen E. Moore; her parents, General and Oma Medlin; and an infant brother, Earnest Medlin.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamme Jacob and husband Jason; her son, Wesley Moore and wife Dr. Kristin; two grandchildren: Haven Glen Jacob and Skylar Renee Jacob; two sisters: Doris Wilson and husband Glen, and Florence Ola Medlin; two nieces: Dana Sarver and husband Mark, and Kelly Overbey and husband Danny; two great nieces: Brooklin and Savanah Sarver; one great nephew: Blake Overbey, and one great niece: Kenlee Overbey, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 26, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Bro. Glen Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
