Castle “Cat” Lee Lowe, 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Born August 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Paris and Rosa Lowe.
In addition to his father and mother, Castle was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lowe, and his siblings: Hubert Ray Lowe, Mona Hoots, Joyce Fay Lowe, and several infant siblings.
He was a veteran of the National Guard, where he had proudly served.
He is survived by his niece, Jennifer Harris; nephews: Wilson Hendren (Denise), Castel Hendren, Elmer Hendren, Hubert Ray Lowe, Randy Lowe, Billy Lowe, and David Lowe; nieces: Lois Roaden and Patsy Bracewell-Borowiak; great-great niece, Hallie Harris; great-nephews: Tony Hendren, Rick Harris, and Roger Harris (Emon); great-great niece, Hailey Hendren; and other great-nieces and great-nephews.
Castle was happiest when busy. He always enjoyed making things, especially building furniture. He enjoyed talking to anyone, and no one was a stranger to him. He entertained his family with his storytelling. He also had a special fondness for animals.
Castle was well-loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held from 1 – 3 P.M. on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Candle Ridge Cemetery.
