Naomi Sue (Turner) Lockaby, 84, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away July 23, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky, after a short illness.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur Leland Lockaby, Sr.

Sue is survived by their two daughters: Geri Leigh Amburgey and Jennifer (Brent) Freeman; their son, Arthur (Shanda) Lockaby II; their nine grandchildren: Chris (Terri) Amburgey, Stacie (Casey) McCauley, Derek Amburgey, Ryan (Sarena) Amburgey, Lance (Kara) Freeman, Morgan (Stephen) Cook, Nikki (Bobby) Whitmer, Jordan (Courtney) Lockaby, and Lauren Lockaby, as well as her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of dear family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Lonnie Marcum and Jack Willis officiating.

Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Chris Amburgey, Derek Amburgey, Ryan Amburgey, Lance Freeman, Jordan Lockaby, and Junior Turner serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

The Lockaby family extends its heartfelt appreciation for all the thoughts and prayers of everyone during this time.

    She loved The Lord! She believed His promises. She stood strong in her faith. She was a glowing light in the darkness.. Now she is united with Christ and reunited with Leland. Separation from her friends and her family is temporary. And she will greet us when we cross over home.
