Russell Logan, 88, of Corbin passed away Monday, October 28, 2013.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Born February 7, 1925, in Knox County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Andy and Eliza Logan.  In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Logan.

Survivors include his wife, Clarice Mackey Logan; two sons: David Logan and wife Sherry and Tim Logan and wife Donna; grandchildren: Matthew Logan and wife Jessica, Staci Davidson and husband Zach, Hannah Logan, and Hunter Logan; great-grandchildren: Logan Davidson, Ryker Davidson, and Bronx Logan, all of Corbin; sister: Virginia Jackson and husband Homer Lee of Barbourville; and sister-in-law, Rea Logan of Rockholds, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Fugitt and Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Family Cemetery.

The family of Russell Logan will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.  Condolences may be made at hartfhcorbin.com.

    To the Russell Logan family. You have my condolences on the loss of your husband, father,grandfather.
    Although it has been a long time since Russ, I so remember him and his sense of humor. He will be sadly missed.

    I am a aid where Ivan was at and he was one special man. He was my favorite and I was very attached to him. I will miss him so much . My prayers are with his family .

    Sorry for your loss, Mr. Logan will be missed by anyone that knew him. He touched the lives of so many; I will never forget him as one of my first Sunday School teachers. There is a homecoming celebration in heaven I know. Love & Prayers to you.

    David & Tim Sorry to hear about your Dad. He truly lived his life
    according to Jesus teachings. I remember him from Sunday School classes
    and him being in the choir. Peace be with you.
