Betty J. Terry
May 16, 1937 - March 19, 2021Betty J. Terry, 83, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, at ContinueCARE Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Born May 16, 1937, in Paducah, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Aubrey and Ernestine Willett Cissell.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her son, James Aubrey Terry; and three brothers-in-law: Jim Adams, Bill Taylor, and Billy Terry.
Betty leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Larry B. Terry. She and Larry were married on April 2, 1969, in Corbin, Kentucky. She is also survived by her son, Kevin Terry and wife Carey; stepson, Steven Terry and wife Lisa; grandsons: Dalton Terry and Derek Terry (Abby); step grandsons: Justin Terry, CD Sanders (Brandy), Zack Sanders (Meghan), and Jacob Sanders (Danielle); sister, Frances Ann Adams from Paducah, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Janice Taylor from Corbin, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Marcella Terry from Corbin, Kentucky; nephews: Mark Terry and wife Tammy from Greenville, South Carolina, and Roger Adams from Paducah, Kentucky; nieces: Sharon McMinn and husband George from Paducah, Kentucky, and Patty Wurth and husband Darrell from Paducah, Kentucky, as well as several great and great great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Worley Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, with Earl Hammond officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton, Derek, CD, Zack, Jake, Jason, Mark, Aaron, Alex, and Jason.
Hart Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Posted at 16:43h, 20 MarchI’m so sorry for your loss . I lived across the street from Ann Adams and her three kids and I were the best of friends growing up! My mother was a bowler and played the organ. I remember Betty coming over to play mom’s organ. I still have a picture of her playing that organ ! Praying for all of the family and friends 🙏
