Ralph Gene Gregory

November 14, 1941 - October 12, 2024

Ralph Gene Gregory, 82, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at UK Hospital.  Born November 14, 1941, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Elvin Herbert and Beulah Gregory.

In addition to his father and mother, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Gregory, and two brothers: Roger Gregory and Terry Gregory.

A faithful servant of God, Ralph was a member of 17th Street Christian Church.  He loved to witness to other people, no matter where he was. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was a blessing to all his family and all who knew him.

He leaves behind his daughter, Diane Ely and husband Clayton; daughter, Denita Harmon and husband Todd; grandchildren: Rachel Spradlin and husband Chase, Emily Graber and husband Joshua, Lauren Harmon, and Cooper Harmon; great-grandchildren: Nora Graber and Will Spradlin; one brother, Phillip Gregory; and two sisters: Brenda Tye and Cheryl Ellis.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as numerous friends.

Dearly loved, he will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 17th Street Christian Church with Mike Hopkins and Tim Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at McHargue Cemetery in Lily, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to 17th Street Christian Church 200 West 17th Street Corbin, KY 40701.

Hart Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

    Ralph was a fine man lived beside him for a short time and worked with him. Always a smile and kind word others. May God bless your family during this time.

    Have known Ralph and Darlene most of my life, loved them both. Saw him mostly at church as he welcomed all He and Darlene are united again……what a happy reunion! He is missed. Prayers for their family.
