John will be truly missed and fondly remembered. Kind and hardworking and always good to us children, putting up with way more than I would have. His wit was unmatched. Rest in peace.

John will be missed by our family. We always loved forward to seeing him when he came to North Carolins and our visits with him in Ohio and Kentucky. He was soooo good to our mother (Almeta) when she was sick. He kindness and love will never be forgotten!
