
Harold Wayne Robinson
August 2, 1945 - July 5, 2025Harold Wayne Robinson, 79, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home. Born August 2, 1945, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Roy Edward and Mary Lou Robinson.
In addition to his father and mother, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Robinson and wife Maida; sister, Irene Earle and husband Roscoe; sister, Bobbie Jean Smith; brother, Charles Robinson and wife Janice; and brother, Alva Floyd Robinson and wife Carolyn.
Wayne leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn Robinson; son, Kenneth Wayne Robinson; son, Paul David Robinson (Donielle); son, Charles Russell Robinson (Julie Johnson); son, James Carl Robinson (Candice); son, James Hubbs (Buffie); 10 grandchildren: Dillon Robinson (Kaitlyn), Alexia Robinson (Dylan Wagner), Logan Robinson, Christina Elizabeth Robinson, Jett Magee, Jiada Camille Robinson, Tara Clark, Chloe Smith, Emma Robinson, and Trenton Hubbs; three great-grandchildren: Tucker Wagner, Breyer Wagner, and Reighlynn Robinson; and two brothers: Carl Robinson (Evelyn) and Jim Robinson (Carolyn Sue). Several other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Wayne was a United States Army veteran, serving in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam. His valor earned him both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Medal. He valued his Masonic commitment and was a 32-degree member of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky F.& A.M. and Oleika Shriners since 1979. He was also a retired welder from CSX Railroad.
Wayne found pleasure in spending time with his family. He also enjoyed making things with his hands and helping others. He was well-loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Siler and Alva Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in A.B. Helton Cemetery with his sons and grandson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Oleika Shriners.
