When I think of Leila Kilbourne I think of the days when I was growing up on Flatwoods Road and living across from Lakeside Market. Leila was a hero to me. So many people come into our lives and they are only with us for a short period of time and then there gone. I feel Leila was at the right place and at the right time in life. I feel like she was there in my life to help teach me some of life’s lessons. I miss you Leila. Thank you for your example.

I loved her as my teacher, friend in later years. She never forgot your name, I would see her out and she always asked about my sister, mom and dad ( when they were still with us). She was one of BEST
