Giulio Joseph Cima II “Jewel”
May 14, 1928 - May 6, 2015Giulio Joseph Cima II “Jewel,” 86, passed away Wednesday night, May 6, 2015, at Baptist Health Corbin. He was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was part owner of Knox Monument Company and owner of Cima Gun Club. He was an avid hunter and raised quail to replenish the field population.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Campbell Cima; his parents: Edmondo and Margaret Cima; two brothers: Armando “Archie” Cima and Edmondo Cima; seven sisters: Alda Cima, Teresa Cima, Julia Cima Barton, Maria Cima Isaac, Elvira Cima, Vermonda Cima, and Olga Cima.
He is survived by his wife, Mossie Cornett Cima; one sister, Gilda Cima McCowan; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends that mourn his passing.
The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Michael Weglicki celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery with his nephews and great nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Topolsky, John Thomas, David Helton, James Miller, Jim Taylor, and Bill Brock.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday (today) at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin. The Rosary will be at 8:30 P.M.
