You will be missed Sunshine. I believe someone once said we never really die, we only change worlds. I know this world will truly miss you but the next one is just a better place to be. You will never know how many lives and hearts you have touched here on earth along the way. The first day I met you was one of the worst days of my life. I just lost my niece and two of her friends to a horrible accident. You gave our family support and and the entire high school as well. Little did I know that some years later I would end up working with you. Once again, you were the helper that helped so many with their addiction problems. I also remember you were going to march down to the court house to keep me out of jail when the judge was going to hold me contempt for refusing to turn over my records because he didn’t understand the Federal Law that prohibited me from doing that. You were always the sunshine that could clear away those clouds that sometimes followed us around. Those were some hard days that you made so much better with your humor and smiles. .
I feel very lucky to have had you as not only a co-worker but a true friend. My prayers are with your sweet wife Judy and your family. May the world you are in now be filled with sunshine and no more clouds.

When I transferred to Knox Central for my junior year of high school (1978/79), Mr. Dunn was the first person I met. His guidance and encouragement helped me to be a success at KCHS. I owe a great debt to him for helping me at such a crucial age and time in my life. I’m certain that countless students could also say the same. Thank you, Mr. Dunn.
