Annette Davis
June 17, 1953 - September 16, 2025Evelyn Annette Davis, 72, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Born June 17, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn Nantz.
In addition to her father and mother, Annette was preceded in death by her daughter, Angelia Rowe, and five brothers: Jerry Nantz, Jimmy Nantz, Johnny Nantz, and Joey Nantz.
Annette leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Tim Davis; son, Kenneth Davis and wife Tina; granddaughter, Leanne Jurilli and husband Sean, along with their daughter expected in January 2026, Jeannine Angelia Jurilli; grandson, Cole Davis; sister, Gloria Jean Sizemore and husband Felix; brother, Justin Nantz and wife Lori; and sister, Jennifer McHargue and husband Ray. Survivors also include nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Annette took great pleasure in caring for her family, especially cooking for them. Her family enjoyed all her deliciously prepared meals, and they always favored the breakfast meals, especially pancakes. Other favorites included chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, chocolate pie, and coleslaw.
Annette was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired store clerk from Butternut Bread Company. In her quiet time, she enjoyed watching Hummingbirds and Dragonflies.
Dearly loved, Annette will be deeply missed by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 22, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
