Christopher Jerome Fineberg, 43, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024.  He was born November 22, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents: Herman and Rose Fineberg, Bonnie Runngren, and Mary Lee Sears; aunt, Michelle Sears; and uncle, Keith Sears.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Crystal Leclercq Fineberg; children: Payton Jerome Fineberg and fiancé Logan Cook, Emily Fineberg, Logan Fineberg, Deven Leclercq, Jayla Singleton, and Keira Wilson; grandson, Kane Jerome Fineberg; mother, Jeannine Sears Lawson; father, Phillip J. Fineberg and wife Pam; brother, Adam Fineberg and wife Elizabeth; grandfather, Jack Sears and wife Faye; two nieces: Alleyana and Kourtney Fineberg; three nephews: Landen, Xzavier, and Lucah Leclercq; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Jane Leclercq; brother-in-law, Kyle Leclercq and wife Courtnie; grand-mother-in-law: Dorothy Achenbach; and two special friends/brothers: Charles “Cheeks” Petercheff and Travis Frye.

A beloved father, husband, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Chris was well-described by his family as “a beyond amazing person, always taking care of others, and a big-time go-to guy for the best advice.”  He also enjoyed traveling and attending concerts.

Chris was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 10, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Warren and Scott Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in Sears Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.

    My thoughts and prayers goes up and out to all that knew and loved this man. I went to school and played basketball with him in Elementary School and I can say he was truly a great guy with a huge heart for all those he met. May God bless all that this has impacted.
