Posted at 10:11h, 16 SeptemberMy condolences to the entire family. Craig was one of the greatest USFS colleagues I have had the privilege to work with, in my over 30 years with the agency. I can honestly say it was a true honor and privilege to be able to work along side Mr. Caldwell. He would always go above and beyond the call of duty to help a fellow coworker.
May the family find some peace during this difficult time in knowing that Craig was a smart worker; above all a man of character and integrity.
Craig was one of kind and he will truly be missed.
Rest easy Mr Caldwell!

Posted at 11:06h, 26 SeptemberI love you dad, so very much. There is a place in my heart for you that I’ll always carry love, and now missing, for. You were a good man, one of the most hard workers and best providers. We always had all we needed and much, much more because of you. You showed your love to us in your jokes and pranks, your humor, your constant hard work and your consistent concern for us. Me moving to Texas never hindered you from reaching out to make sure I was safe and okay. Because of you, I have learned so many valuable and important things, things I’ll carry on to my son one day. Our memories of camping in the yard together, making bonfires, venturing and learning about wildlife together, you showing me how to defend myself, our jokes and quips, everything will always be cherished and won’t fade. I promise I’ll carry you along with me every day. When I look into the mirror I see attributes I got from you, and if Benji gets any of those same attributes from me, I’ll be proud. I love you.
