Dorothy Rogers
June 11, 1927 - June 1, 2024Dorothy Rogers, 96, of Corbin, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2024, after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband “Preacher” Jim Rogers; a son, Larry “Vada” Rogers; and grandson, Chris Rogers.
She is survived by her caregiver and son, Gary Rogers; four grandchildren: Chad Rogers and Tiffany Gilmore of Corbin, Mikkah Rogers of Alaska; and Devin Rogers of Louisiana; and several great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held for family and friends at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Pine Hill Cemetery with Pastor Paula Farmer officiating. Pallbearers will be Jon Stratton, Mark Eaton, Kenny Gilmore, Keaton Smith, Chad Rogers, and Kenny Roaden.
Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
