Drexell Caudell
October 23, 1934 - June 4, 2024Drexell Caudell, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Christian Health Care Center in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born October 23, 1934, in Beattyville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Arch and Mary Caudell.
A Christian man, Drexell was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He found great enjoyment in doing anything outdoors, especially mowing the grass. He was also known as a jokester.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arneda Caudell; three brothers: Bill Caudell, Wayne Caudell, and Willard Caudell; and a sister, Josephine Fox.
He leaves behind his son, Ralph Murphy and wife Melissa of London, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Becky Woodall, Rachel Huff, Leslie Paul, Jason Conlin and wife Missy, and Amiee Bush and husband Paul; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Combs, as well as many friends.
Drexell was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 7, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Randall Lee and Glen Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.

Drexell and I worked together at AG, I thought a lot of Drexell, he was so knowledgeable about many things and helped me to learn many valuable lessons. I coveted his friendship and kindness.
Due to my sickness I cannot be there for the funeral, but know how much Drexell meant to me.
