Edith Belle Perry
November 23, 1938 - December 24, 2023Edith Belle Perry, 85, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Anderson, Indiana. Born November 23, 1938, in Larchwood, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Aurlette Schipper.
Edith was a member of Shiner Church of Christ in Williamsburg, Kentucky, and very much loved her church family. She also loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Other favorite pastimes were quilting and following the Washington Redskins and U.K. Wildcat sports programs.
In addition to her father and mother, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gerald Perry, and her sister, Helen Jones.
Edith leaves behind her daughter, Susan Perry Fulton and husband Ben; son, Stuart Perry and wife Angela; five grandchildren: Rebecca Kline and husband Ian, Katie Fulton, Christopher Perry and wife Ellen, Jacob Perry, and Matthew Perry; and three great-grandchildren: Perry Kline, Adrien Perry, and Cyrus Perry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2023, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street
