Elizabeth Ailene Fore
November 27, 1929 - November 5, 2022Elizabeth Ailene Fore, 92, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Born November 27, 1929, in Whitley County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Steely and Erma Eaton.
Ailene worked for the Franklin County School District in Ohio, for many years as a school bus driver. While there, she was affectionately known as “Granny” by students and colleagues.
Ailene especially enjoyed Gospel music and even sang in a group in past years.
In addition to her father and mother, Ailene was preceded in death by her husband, JD Fore; son, Ronnie Mason; son, Michael Mason; son, Truman Dallas Mason; granddaughter, Shannon; sister, Phyllis; and two brothers: Keith and Doug.
She leaves behind her son, Glennis Steely Mason; son, Larry Mason and wife Phyllis; seven grandchildren: Mitzi, Sheila, Bradley, Brian, Amanda, Vanessa, and Phillip; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Rick Eaton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Vernon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

Posted at 00:20h, 10 NovemberRest In Peace aunt Aleen. You lived a long wonderful life with many stories and laughter that I always enjoyed mostly of you. Your laugh was always so memorable but oh boy look out if you were in trouble “Lisa Ann I’m going to whoop you”, not that I believe she ever did but I sure did get the lectures. In straightening myself up 🙂 she had many talents to her from canning to crafting sock monkeys that I always had as a childhood cherished memory, but most of all she loved her some good rabbit hunting and loved to out hunt her hubby jay.
