Flora J. Shelton
January 15, 1934 - July 19, 2015Flora J. Shelton, age 81, of Corbin passed away at Baptist Health Corbin Sunday morning July 19, 2015.
A homemaker, she loved working in her flowers, gardening, and caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Pearl Mitchell; a daughter, Patricia; a grandson, Jeremy; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Blevins; 2 sons, Roger and wife Loretta Shelton and Mark Shelton; one sister, Nadine Lankster; granddaughters, Sosha, Crystal, Nicki; grandson, Corey; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind other family members and many friends, all to mourn her passing.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday at the Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin.
