Georgia Mae Ridener Earls
November 27, 1944 - July 22, 2024Georgia Mae Ridener Earls, 79, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born November 27, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Emby and Blumie Ridener.
In addition to her father and mother, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Earls, Sr., and brother, Garnett Ridener.
A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Georgia adored her family and enjoyed cooking, baking, and making candy for them. Her all-day shopping trips with her daughter and granddaughter brought her much joy. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her dog, Dolly. She was of Baptist faith.
Georgia leaves behind her children: Sandra Lou Wilson, Otis Earls, Jr., and Emby Earls (Lora); grandchildren: Curtis Wilson (Brittni), Lindsey Sherman (Trevor), Ryan Wilson, Christi Jo Ford (Jake), Carrie Bass (Jake), Joshua Earls, and Mitchell Earls; great-grandchildren: Braylan Tuttle, Blakely Wilson, Camden Wilson, Kiley Parker, Noah Ford, Elena Bass, Charlotte Bass, Connor Sherman, and Olivia Sherman; and two sisters: Dolores Hinkle and Geraldine Lemons (Jerry).
Georgia was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Siler and Emby Earls officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
