Henrietta Elizabeth Rose
August 7, 1940 - December 10, 2015Henrietta Elizabeth Rose, 75, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born August 7, 1940, in Garden City, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Myra Kelley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Guage Rose.
She was a member of Level Green Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, L.G. Rose; five children: Sandra Brooks of Corbin, Lesley (Danny) Durham of Richmond, Tracey (John) Begley of Corbin, and Gregg (Trista) Rose of Bluefield, West Virginia; five grandchildren: Rainey Durham, Hiram Begley, Henry Begley, Legend Rose, and Liberty Rose; three sisters: Joyce Parker of Georgetown, Texas, Martha Kelley of Georgetown, Texas, and Ruth Jones of Georgetown, Texas; and special friends: Harold and Irene Goins of Corbin to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Hampton and Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
