Imogene Wells
January 5, 1935 - December 27, 2013Imogene Wells, 78, of Gray passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born January 5, 1935, in Knox County she was the daughter of the late George and Jane Eagle.
She was a member of Keck Baptist Church. A past Worthy Matron, she was a member of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Morgan and a brother, Clifford Eagle.
She leaves behind her beloved family: her loving husband of 67 years, Clifton Wells; two daughters: Patty Kissinger of Gray and Barbara Lee and husband Champion of Gray; three grandsons: James Kissinger and wife Suzy of Corbin, Steven Kissinger of Lexington, and Dillion Taylor of Corbin; three great-grandsons: Aaron Kissinger, Alex Kissinger, and Austin Kissinger; a sister, Georgia Travis of Frankfort; and a brother, Roy Eagle of Gray. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 31, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family of Imogene Wells will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
