Irma Rose Helton
February 15, 1952 - June 8, 2024Irma Rose Helton, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a resident of Corbin Nursing Home where she had been lovingly taken care of for several years.
Irma was preceded in death by her father, Richard Rose, and her mother, Eula Rose Bolton.
She leaves behind one son, Josh Helton of Corbin, KY; one brother, Bruce (Jeanie) Rose of Corbin, KY; two nephews: Nathan (Laura) Rose of Corbin, KY, and Justin (Nathalia) Rose of Tucson, AZ; two great-nephews and two great-nieces; and several cousins.
Irma was a graduate of Corbin High School class of 1970 and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church Woodbine, KY.
Graveside services, officiated by Pastor Bobby Joe Eaton and Pastor Victor Bramlett of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, will be held at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at P.O. Box #91891 Washington, DC. 20090-1891.
