James Robert Couch, Sr.
April 10, 1947 - March 24, 2022James Robert “Rob” Couch, Sr., 74, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home. Born April 10, 1947, in Harlan, Kentucky, Rob was the son of the late William Turner Couch and Martha Baker Couch.
Also known as “Spider,” Rob was a truck driver in the coal and logging business most of his working life. He loved his family dearly and also enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling.
In addition to his father and mother, Rob was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Couch Graham; daughter, Leona Couch; brother, William Turner Couch; and nephew, Dewayne Lunsford.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia Couch; son, James Robert “Robbie” Couch, Jr., and wife April; son, James Leslie Couch; son, Billy Couch; and daughter, Angel Bailey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Couch, as well as other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Upper Room Revival Center with Pastor Mark Gilbert officiating.
