Jeanette Lee Stopher
April 2, 1962 - November 1, 2024Jeanette Lee Stopher, 62, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024. She was born April 2, 1962, in Corbin.
Jeanette was a member of East Side Church of God where she served the Lord wholeheartedly, especially using her amazing talent to sing. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She poured the same kind of love and dedication into countless students before retiring from Corbin High School.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Verna Lee, on January 6, 2023.
She leaves behind her cherished family: daughter, Samantha Shepherd (Stacey); daughter, Jessica Jones; four grandchildren: Ryan Shepherd, Jackson Jones, Sadie Shepherd, and Solomon Shepherd; her father, Randall N. Lee; sister, Judy Melton (Tim), and sister, Sharlene Lee. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive her.
Jeanette was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Humfleet officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
