John Mackey
April 21, 1922 - May 19, 2015John Mackey, 93, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Christian Health Center. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.
Born April 21, 1922, in Richmond, KY, he was the son of the late Belmont and Belle Mackey. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol McAllister.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Mackey, and five children: Kathy Bunch, Stewart Mackey, Susan Mackey Freeberg, Bill Nachand, and Joel Mackey to mourn his passing.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bennie Bush officiating.
Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin, is handling all arrangements.
