Joyce Ann Lemons
June 10, 1945 - August 29, 2025Joyce Ann Lemons, 80, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Born June 10, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Theresa Trotz.
In addition to her father and mother, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, William Steven Lemons; her sister, Leona Yuris; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Lemons.
Joyce leaves behind her beloved family: her daughter, Dawn Mosher and husband Bob Manley; daughter, Nancy Bruce and husband Matthew; granddaughter, Kaleigh Bruce; bonus daughter, Karen Kessling and husband Scott; bonus granddaughters: Nicole and Samantha; brother, Ted Trotz and wife Dorothy; sister, Pamela Plantago and husband Bryan; sister-in-law, Geraldine Lemons; brother-in-law, Wayne Lemons and wife Kathy; niece, Betty Coady; niece, Theresa Gorski; nephew, Ted Trotz, Jr.; nephew, Michael Drabes; nephew, Frank Drabes; and cousin, Nancy Wagner. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Joyce was a gifted artist who found immense pleasure in painting as well as baking specialty cakes. Her love for cats was evident in the way she attended to the needs of her many cats. Meanwhile, she enjoyed her Yago wine and gambling whether with scratch-off tickets or visiting the Mint Hall and casinos
Loved by her family, Joyce will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 5, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Prasad Antony officiating. Burial will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
