Juanita D. Taylor West, age 64, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on May 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 2, 1960, Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and faithful friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger West; her sons, Daniel Brandon West and Jeremy Tyler West and his wife Amber; and her cherished grandchildren, Jack West and Luke West, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

She is also survived by her father, Jessie Taylor and his wife Lisa of LaFollette, Tennessee; two brothers, Larry Taylor of LaFayette, Georgia, and Roger Taylor and his wife Diane of Alabama; as well as a host of friends and relatives who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, June Taylor, and her brother, Darrell Taylor.

Juanita had a strong work ethic and a caring heart, reflected in her many years of service at NCR, Gordon Food Service, London Women’s Care, and most recently, West Accounting. She was a dedicated member of Frankfort Baptist Church in Corbin, where her faith and kindness touched many lives.

Above all, Juanita had a deep and abiding love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and today, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now a resident of Heaven—fully healed, fully at peace, and in the presence of her Savior.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home in Corbin. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with James Hodge and Steve Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Worley Cemetery on 5th Street in Corbin.

Juanita will be remembered for her warmth, strength, unwavering love for her family, and her unshakable faith. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, devotion, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

    Praying for you Uncle Roger and Tyler and Brandon and your families. Aunt Juanita was always so kind and loving. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. She was a wonderful loving example to all who knew her and to those whom she didn’t even know. The true embodiment of Christian love.

    Roger and Family,
    It has been an honor to know Juanita and you. We have worshipped many years together. I knew your sons when they were younger. She was a wonderful lady and we will miss her. Our love and prayers are for strength, comfort and healing peace for you and all the family.

      Thanks Susan. Juanita was my very best friend and the best part of me. I know she is waiting for me and one day we will walk those streets of gold together.
