Kelvin Hart

August 7, 1963 - June 25, 2025

Kelvin Hart, age 61, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on June 25, 2025. A devoted husband, loving father, and proud “Pappy,” Kelvin’s life was a testament to love, hard work, and kindness.

Kelvin was best known in the community for running his Honda shop in Middlesboro, Kentucky, where he greeted each customer with genuine care and treated everyone like family. His passion for what he did went beyond just business — he truly cared for the people he served and built lasting relationships through his honesty, warmth, and dedication.

Family was at the center of Kelvin’s life. He was a wonderful husband to his wife, Wendy Hart, and a loving father to his children: David (Joy) Hart, Natoshia (Jody) Mouser, and Allyson Daugherty. He cherished his role as “Pappy” to his beloved grandchildren: Tori (Cole) Brock, Maci Mouser, Anslee Mouser, Jax Mouser, Silas Hart, Millee Kate Daugherty, and Avery Grace Daugherty. He also leaves behind his sister, Tammy Hart, along with his sister-in-law, Donna Chadwell, brother-in-law, Jeff (Mary) Light, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mildred Hart; his in-laws, Don and Jamie Light; his brother-in-law, Jeff Chadwell; and his precious grandson, Cash Hart. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched, especially those of his family, whom he loved so deeply.

Kelvin’s legacy is one of generosity, faith, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Pollitt officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky.
