Ollie Louise Mosley
April 2, 1927 - August 10, 2022Ollie Louise Mosley, 95, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Born April 2, 1927, in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late David and Leona Couch.
Louise was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Mosley; son, Billy Ray Mosley; seven siblings: Thelma Hart, Mary Belle Couch, Bethel Couch, Sidney Couch, Bige Couch, Burchell Couch and Ralph Couch; and two sons-in-law: Richard Smith and Kermit Parker, Jr.
She leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Smith; son, David Mosley (Ivy); daughter, Carol Scearse; daughter, Kay Keeling; 11 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and four sisters: Christine Mayberry, Sophia Walker, Geneva Hamblin (Robert), and Anna Sue Phelps. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Louise was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her loving family.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 15, 2022, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Day officiating. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery at Keavy.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
