Patricia Vera Thumm
April 1, 2025 - February 8, 2025Patricia Thumm, 91, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Heritage in Corbin, Kentucky. Born April 1, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Fleischman.
In addition to her father and mother, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Thumm; two daughters: Debbie Lovely and Jennifer Holmes; two grandsons: Nathan Thumm and Matthew Bute; and brother, Ralph Fleischman.
She leaves behind her daughter, Kathy Hubbard (Jack); daughter, Judy Rapier (Keith); son, Fred Thumm; daughter, Laura Opfer; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends to mourn her passing.
Patricia was a strong-willed, independent woman who was retried from Northern Illinois University where she worked for many years as a cook. She also enjoyed flower gardening and knitting.
No funeral services are planned.
