Ronald D. Hensley
September 7, 2025 - August 2, 1942Ronald D. Hensley, 83, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born August 2, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Vernon and Gertie Hensley.
In addition to his father and mother, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Jewel Faye Hensley; brother, Jack Hensley; and two sons: Kenneth Ray Doyle and Timothy Wayne Doyle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jan Hensley; son, Scott Lenser; daughter, Tracy Dowell; grandchildren: Ronald D. Lenser, Allison Lenser, Jessica Jeanette Doyle, Stephane Doyle, and Andrew Doyle; and his niece, Michelle Hensley.
Ron served in the United States Army. With 30 years of service, he was retired from General Motors. He was also a member of the Melrose Masonic Lodge. He greatly enjoyed his old cars and golfing.
No funeral services are planned. Hart Funeral Home is assisting the family.
