Timothy Alan Jordan, 56, of Corbin passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the U.K. Hospital.  He was born January 20, 1968, in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, William Jordan; an infant sister, Cynthia Jordan; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Jordan.

Tim leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Carol Jordan; son, Timothy Kyle Jordan (Megan); son, Kristopher Alan Jordan (Molly); granddaughter, Reagan Jordan; mother, Elizabeth Jordan; brother, Robin Jordan (Kimberly); brother, Marc Jordan (Lisa); and close friend, Frank Gibson.   He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Tim was a beloved member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church.

Tim worked for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company as a Regional Manager for Breaktime Vending and Distributing. He was also currently serving as president of KAMC (Kentucky Automatic Merchandising Council).  In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching sports, especially the Reds and U.K. Wildcats. His love of sports led him to coach youth baseball and basketball teams throughout the years where he impacted the lives of many. He also enjoyed golfing, reading detective novels, and most of all, spending time with and traveling with his family.

Tim had the special ability to make everyone in his presence feel welcome and at home. He always opened his heart and home to others and will have a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered as a role model and father figure to many. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Tim was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 31, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Alsip, Jimmy Elliott, and Jeff Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Grant Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 9 P.M. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.

    Thoughts and prayers go out to you all he was the best boss any one could have ask for I thought the world of him and enjoyed working with him as a teenager and looked up to he was a leader and inspiration to me .

    Tim was one of a kind. Always true to his family. He had a big heart and a big smile.. Praying for his family and friends.

    My first born son Tim will be very very missed. I am so grateful and proud to have known and loved such a sensitive and kind person that enjoyed and loved life to the fullest. Words cannot express my sorrow.
