Brenda Sue Gentry
December 26, 1946 - October 14, 2013Brenda Sue Simpson Gentry, age 48, of Corbin, passed away Monday morning, October 14, 2013, at Baptist Health Corbin.
A kitchen manager in the Corbin School System for many years, she was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Woodson Simpson, a brother Woody Simpson, and a sister Alma Jean Liford.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Gentry; daughter, Ashley Gentry; son, Derrick Felts; mother, Edna Simpson Gross; siblings: Linda Nevels, Shelia Dizney and husband Curt, Ellen Simpson, Hobert Simpson, Lottie McGeorge, Mary Lou Watts, and Rose Simpson. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, other family members and friends, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gibbs, Keith Rogers, Curt Dizney, Jason Jones, Seth Gibbs, and Michael Browne.
