Pastor was the best pastor, preacher and friend we ever knew. We loved him and we love Joyce. But we won’t be separated for too long. We will be with him again.
Joyce we love you and pray for constantly for God to give you strength. Lonnie is with Jesus and has outrun us in this race. We are not far behind. May God richly bless you and your family. Always remember we love you.

To sum up a lot about Uncle Lonnie…..he was:
The humblest person I have ever met. No matter what the issue, he was there to provide support and help resolve a situation. He was an inspiration and role model to everyone he met.
He was generous. He was a devoted husband and family man. Over the years I have witnessed countless occasions where he provided for or lent a helping hand to a family or church member.
He always had a story to tell and we all loved his laughter. He was witty and knew how to focus others on the brighter side of life.
I know that each of you loved and respected him as much as we do. The world needs more Lonnie Storms (man, do we ever) and we will always cherish our memories of life with him.
Not many people can honestly say that they made a difference in this world, but Lonnie can. He lived a good life and touched the hearts of so many others. As Winston Churchill once said:
“We make a living by what we get: we make a life by what we give.”

I am deeply saddened at the passing of my wonderful cousin, Lonnie. We visited with his family when we were children. Going to see Aunt Gracie and Uncle Rosie was always a treat every summer. The last time I saw him was at my sister, Joann’s funeral. We talked about the good times we had and how he and his dear sisters felt like brothers and sisters instead of cousins. The sorrow we are feeling is for our loss. Lonnie is finally home with Jesus, family, and friends. Our prayers go out to Joyce and his children. May God bless you all.
