Anna Felts McHargue
December 10, 1931 - February 29, 2020Anna Felts McHargue, 88, formerly of Lily, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born December 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Matt and Martha Felts.
Devoted to her faith and family, Anna was a cherished mommy, granny, and great granny, always vibrant, resilient, and hardworking. She was a member of Dorthae Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford McHargue; her second husband, Otis Peters; and her siblings: Lena Adkins, Captola Sulfridge, Lillie Crawford, Kenneth Felts, Lon Felts, James Roy Felts, Carl Ray Felts, and Carol Faye Smith.
She leaves behind her daughter, Judy Walker; son, Clifford “Butch” McHargue (Pon); daughter, Martha Lay (Gary); grandchildren: Alex Walker (Cindy), Bryan Walker (Jennifer), Cristel Boggs (Eric), Michelle Burgan (Joe), Katy Lay-Allen (Tim), and Brooke Krutsinger (Justin); and great grandchildren: Emma, Eli, Zeke, Raegan, Isaac, Isabelle, Natalie, Lilli, Benjamin, Anna Grace, and Scarlett (expected in June). She is also survived by many other relatives and numerous friends. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2020, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bryan Walker officiating. Burial will be follow in Martin Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Boggs, Justin Krutsinger, Joe Burgan, Tim Allen, Eli Walker, Zeke Boggs, and Isaac Krutsinger; honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
