Barbara Rice Epperson, age 59 of Canon, KY, passed away on Monday, May 9 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
She leaves behind her mother, Carrie Rice; two children, Jessica Johnson and husband John and Jeremy Epperson, all of Barbourville, KY; five siblings, Amos Rice, Judy Rice Burton, Shelia Rice Brown and husband Walter, Phillip Rice and wife Patricia, all of Barbourville, KY, Melissa Epperson and husband Larry of Ohio; three grandchildren, Jasmine, Hailey and Makala, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. J.N. Rice and one son, Daniel Epperson.
A memorial service for Barbara Rice Epperson will be conducted on Saturday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jimmy Helton and David Rice officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 and also after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13 at the funeral home.
