Barbara White
December 30, 1946 - August 26, 2023Barbara White, 76, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born December 30, 1946, in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Ledford and Nannie Perry.
Over the years when she was able, Barbara attended church services at Liberty Baptist Church, Tidal Wave Baptist Church, Level Green Baptist Church, and Eagle Creek Baptist Church. She was also a loyal follower of WLJC.
By nature, Barbara was a devoted family person, described by her loved ones as a “mainstay” who always cared for others. She especially enjoyed cooking, yard sales, and fishing.
In addition to her father and mother, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Fred White; brother, Donald Perry; sister, Patricia Perry; and brother-in-law, Kenny Lawson.
Barbara leaves behind her beloved daughter, Charlene White; sister, Carolyn Lawson; brother, Ledford Perry, Jr., and wife Judy; sister-in-law, Charlene Perry; nephews and nieces: Derrick, Tami Jo, Rodney, Tessa, Nikki, Kenny, Whitney, Zachery, and Dalton. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Dearly loved, Barbara will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with James Hodge and Ralph Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.

Posted at 22:16h, 27 AugustI’ve always enjoyed talking to Barb when she and Charlene would visit and shop at Kroger’s.. She was so full of life, made me laugh at times. Barb truely believed in the Lord, And I just enjoyed that. Felt like family, God bless you Charlene and your family at this time..
