Bernice Gray Buss
February 4, 1955 - March 13, 2024Bernice Gray Buss, 69, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her home. Born February 5, 1955, in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Marcum and Edmona Gray.
In addition to her father and mother, Bernice was preceded in death by four brothers: Whitley Gray, Johnny Gray, Everett Gray, and Marcum Junior Gray; and three sisters: Cleo Tye, Stella Gray, and Doris Jean Godsey.
She leaves behind her son, Johnnie W. Hensley; daughter, Denice Johnson; granddaughter, Stephanie Wells; grandson, Draven Wells and wife Marilyn; great-granddaughter, Nevaiah; and brother, Elmer Gray. She is also survived by other relatives, friends, a special friend, Mona McQueen; and her special pet dog, Speedy.
Sometimes described as having a “Green Thumb,” Bernice enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, especially roses. She was also a former business owner of B & J Outlet and Attitude Tanning and Body Salon.
Bernice was loved and will be deeply missed.
No funeral services are planned.
