Betty E. Swim
November 5, 1937 - June 2, 2016Betty E. Swim, 78, of Corbin passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Middlesboro.
Born November 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ballard and Beulah Sowder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey “Tiny” Swim, Jr.; a son, Ricky Swim (who passed away recently on May 28); a sister, Louise Sowder; and a brother, Ronald Sowder.
She is survived by two sons: Ronnie Swim and wife Debbie and Tony Swim and wife Carla; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother, Lynn Sowder; and a sister, Kara Burkett, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Corbin with Pastor Ralph Rogers officiating.
