Bonnie Bruce Griffin, 85, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at The Heritage in Corbin, Kentucky, after a long-time illness with Alzheimer’s. Born June 29, 1940, in Emlyn, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Emma Rains.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters: Vickie Hart and husband Steve of Corbin, Kentucky, and Tina Kihara of Belleair, Florida; two grandchildren: Tyler Hart and wife Heather, and Travis Hart and wife Caitlin; four grandchildren: Zac, Eli, Sadie Joe, and Lainey; her brother, Donnie Rains of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
Hart Funeral Home is assisting the family. No funeral service is planned.
The family extends deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff of The Heritage in Corbin, Kentucky, with a special acknowledgement to Josh Gray.
