He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 ½ years, Brenda C. Moore; son, Frank Moore and wife Joy; daughter, Carolyn Gross Moore; son, David A. Chuck was a member of East Side Tabernacle Church of God. Over the years, he faithfully served as a deacon, usher, board member, and musician.
He was retired from Gary Works U.S. Steel in Indiana. He later worked at Hart Funeral Home for several years as a devoted attendant, where he was loved and appreciated.
A talented singer and musician, Chuck used his abilities, not only at church services, but also to minister at local nursing homes. He and his loving wife Brenda found pleasure in that ministry. He also enjoyed traveling, bicycle riding, working in the yard, and building bird houses. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Chuck was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jacob Moore and Ryan Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

Posted at 09:43h, 27 NovemberMy father in law. He treated me like one of his own. Always joking and singing gospel songs. I loved listening to him sing. He was a godly man and this world is feeling a great loss this morning. He’s singing for Jesus now. We will miss you every day.
